Located in the heart of Santa Fe's Historic District in a hacienda built in the 1860s, Bristol Family Law practices exclusively in the area of Family Law, which includes divorce, collaborative divorce, alimony, child custody and timesharing, child support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, domestic violence cases, kinship guardianship, parentage matters, grandparent visitation, Guardian ad Litem for children and adults, ADR and mediation, step-parent adoption, and name changes. We also advise clients participating in mediation--we encourage clients to settle disputes and provide advice about arriving at a thorough mutual agreement through mediation.
Our commitment to offer creative solutions, responsive service, and cost effective legal representation is enhanced by obtaining results with integrity. Our experience of handling matters in the broad context of family conflict dynamics provides a wealth of knowledge and strategies that we apply to each client's unique situation.
Our location is several blocks from the First Judicial District Courthouse. Our clients are primarily from Santa Fe County and the nine northern counties of New Mexico. We also service clients who have recently moved out-of-state, but want issues addressed in New Mexico.
Stewardship
Bristol Family Law commits to serve as a steward supporting other important issues. We pledge a certain percentage of our annual revenue to support organizations that sustain and promote the environment, such as Adopt-A-River Program through the Santa Fe Watershed Association, and the Banff Film Festival, which supports the Santa Fe Conservation Trust. We also sponsor educational events for children and family sporting events, such as climbing competitions and running races.
